Navigate your End-Consumer Dashboard
Your energy dashboard: a guide to the End-Consumer Dashboard (ECD)
Welcome to your Granular Energy dashboard! This is your personal space to understand your energy consumption, track how much of it is matched with renewable energy, and download your reports — all in one place.
What can I do here?
Your dashboard gives you a clear picture of:
- How much energy you're consuming
- How much of that is matched with green, renewable energy
- Where that renewable energy is coming from
- What your carbon footprint looks like — and how your renewable procurement is reducing it
- Your matching reports, available to download at any time
Setting up your account
You'll receive a login invitation to your work email from your energy supplier. Once you're in, your dashboard will already be personalised to your consumption data.
If you manage multiple sites or business units, these may be grouped together or available as separate views — you can switch between them using the sub-group selector on the dashboard.
Don't have an account yet? Reach out to your energy supplier and ask them to set you up on the Granular End-Consumer Dashboard.
Navigating your dashboard
Step 1 — Choose your time period
The first thing to do is select the period you want to explore. Click "Dates" or the Filter icon at the top of the dashboard and select one or more months.
Example: You want to review your energy data for Q1 2024. Select October, January, February and March — the entire dashboard will update instantly.

Step 2 — Pick your level of detail
Use the toggle at the top to switch between Hourly, Daily, and Monthly views. This changes how your data is broken down — without changing the period you've selected.
Example: You're preparing your annual sustainability report and want to understand your renewable matching in detail. Start with the monthly view for the big picture, then switch to hourly to see how your consumption and renewable supply align throughout the day.
ℹ️ Good to know: Your matching percentage will typically look higher on a monthly view than on an hourly one. This is completely normal — it simply reflects that renewable energy isn't always generated at the exact hour you're consuming it. The hourly view gives you the most accurate picture of true granular matching.
Step 3 — Understand your key numbers
The central section of your dashboard shows your most important metrics:
- Consumption Total — the total energy you used in the selected period
- Matching Generation — how much of that was matched with renewable energy, shown as a volume and a percentage
- Unmatched Consumption — the portion not yet covered by tracked renewable energy
You'll also see your carbon emissions calculated two ways:
- Location-based emissions — based on the average carbon intensity of your local electricity grid
- Market-based emissions — reflects the impact of your renewable energy procurement; matched renewable energy carries a zero emissions factor
Example: Your location-based emissions show 89.7 tCO₂, but your market-based emissions are only 23.3 tCO₂. The gap 66.4 tonnes, represents the measurable impact of your renewable energy sourcing. This is exactly the kind of figure you can use in sustainability disclosures or ESG reporting.

Step 4 — Explore your charts
Two charts help you dig into the detail:
- Matching over time — shows your total consumption, the portion matched with renewables, and any unmatched energy, across your selected period
- Hourly averages — shows how matching patterns change throughout a typical day, helping you spot when your consumption and renewable supply align (or don't)
You can customise both charts:
- Filter by energy technology (solar, wind, hydro, etc.) to see what types of renewables are powering you
- Filter by specific production device to get even more granular
- Zoom in on a specific stretch of time by clicking and dragging on the chart — click "Reset zoom" to go back to the full view
Example: You're curious whether your energy comes mostly from solar or wind. Apply the technology filter and see the breakdown instantly. If you're writing a sustainability report, this gives you a concrete and compelling detail to include.

Downloading Your reports
Head to the Reports section to find and download your matching reports. These are generated by your energy supplier at the end of each period and are ready for you to use in audits, ESG reporting, or internal reviews. Click the download icon next to any report to save it.
