Granular Energy Product Update (August 2026)
Dear all,
We're constantly improving the Granular Energy platform, and wanted to share a round-up of what's new.
New reports design
We've rolled out a redesigned PDF report template to give you far more control over what each report includes and how it looks. This is now live; the main updates are:
- Clearer matching breakdown tables, showing total allocation from each group.
- Country breakdown, available as an option alongside the existing technology and production device breakdowns, shown as both a table and charts.
- New production device details table, showing additional information about the production devices behind your allocations.
- New certificates appendix, showing details of cancelled certificate volumes, broken down by registry, transaction and production device properties, in addition to the certificate bundles.
- Configurable number formatting, so figures can be presented in the format that best suits you.
All pre-existing report content remains available exactly as before; these updates only add new possibilities to include additional detail where you want it. Nothing has been taken away.

What's coming next?
This redesign lays the groundwork for a lot more coming down the line:
- Report on anything: the ability to generate reports on arbitrary groups you define yourself, not just the predefined breakdowns available today, so you can slice reporting around exactly the segments that matter to your business.
- Bulk-generate at scale: generate reports in bulk across multiple axes at once (think customer groups, product or tariff, sites or building level), with fully customisable report names, organised and easy to find.
- Total chart control: fine-grained control over exactly which charts appear in each report and how they're displayed, so the visuals match what you actually want to show.
User management, now in your hands
Platform admins can now manage their own team's access directly from the platform, without needing to go through Granular Energy support for every change.
- View the full list of team members who currently have access to your organisation, for greater transparency across your team (Settings → Team).
- Invite new users and remove existing ones yourself, directly from the platform.
If you'd like to designate a user on your side as an admin so they can start managing access, just get in touch.

Have questions or feedback on any of the above? We'd love to hear from you; just reply to this email or reach out to your account manager directly.
Best regards,
The Granular Energy Team
